Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat is an internationally known scientist. He is now a Distinguished Professor at KASIT, University of Jordan. He is also a Distinguished Professor at SRM University, India. Professor Mohammad S. Obaidat’s research interests include Cyber Security, Biometric-based Security, Machine Learning, Big Data Analytics, and other areas. He has received extensive research funding and published over one thousand (1,200) refereed technical articles, half of which are journal articles, over 100 books, and over 70 book chapters. Prof. Obaidat is Editor-in-Chief of 3 scholarly journals and an editor of many other international journals. Moreover, he is the founder or co-founder of 5 IEEE International Conferences. Prof. Obaidat has chaired numerous (Over 185) international conferences and has given numerous (Over 185) keynote speeches worldwide. He also received many other worldwide awards for his technical contributions, including the 2018 IEEE ComSoc-Technical Committee on Communications Software, the 2018 Technical Achievement Award for contribution to Cybersecurity, and SCS's prestigious McLeod Founder's Award, among others. He was awarded the IEEE CITS Hall of Fame Distinguished and Eminent Award. In 2024, ScholarGPS has ranked him Number 1 Scholar Worldwide in Telecommunications and Telecommunication Systems Management. Prof. Obaidat was recently ranked by research.com agency as the number ONE Computer Scientist and number ONE Scholar in Electronics and Electrical Engineering in Jordan. Dr. Zheng Yan, Distinguished Professor at Xidian University, is an IEEE Fellow, IET Fellow, and AAIA Fellow. She is a Stanford World top 2% scientist, an Academy Fellow of the Academy of Finland, and a highly cited researcher by Elsevier in China. Her research interests are in trust management, information and network security, privacy protection, and data analysis. She has published over 380 papers in prestigious journals and conferences worldwide, including IEEE SP, IEEE TIFS, IEEE TDSC, INFOCOM, and ICSE, with over 260 as first or corresponding author. She has authored two English books used for teaching for nearly a decade. She holds 107 international and domestic patents, including 50 PCT patents (with 30 independent inventions), with over 130 patents adopted by industry, some of which have entered international standards or are widely used. Her U.S. patents are tracked by over 60 Fortune Global 500 companies. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, NIT Warangal, Telangana, India. He has nine years of teaching and research experience. He has guided 30 B.Tech. students, 17 M. Tech./M. Phil./M.C.A. scholars, and two Ph.D. scholars, and guiding five Ph.D. scholars. He has developed operational, maintenance, and testing procedures for electronic products, components, equipment, and systems; provided technical support and instruction to staff and customers regarding equipment standards, assisting with specific, difficult in-service engineering; Inspected electronic and communication equipment, instruments, products, and systems to ensure conformance to specifications, safety standards, and regulations. He is a wireless sensor network Chief Evangelist, a Researcher, and a Designer. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, security of things (SoT), communication controls, the Internet of Things (IoT), deep neural networks, artificial intelligence involving wireless sensor networks, control of electrical machines, business IT, 5G networks, and low power communication protocols. Dr. Iwendi is also a Board Member of the IEEE Sweden Section. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of The Higher Education Academy, the United Kingdom that involves a pedagogical program development.
