Biography: Dr. Houbing Herbert Song is currently a Professor, the Founding Director of the NSF Center for Aviation Big Data Analytics, the Associate Director for Leadership of the DOT Transportation Cybersecurity Center for Advanced Research and Education (Tier 1 Center), and the Director of the Security and Optimization for Networked Globe Laboratory, University of Maryland. His research interests include cyber-physical systems/internet of things, cybersecurity and privacy, and AI/machine learning/big data analytics. Dr. Song serves as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Artificial Intelligence, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transportation Systems, and IEEE Journal on Miniaturization for Air and Space Systems. He is the editor of ten books, the author of more than 100 articles, and the inventor of 2 patents. Dr. Song is an IEEE Fellow, an Asia-Pacific Artificial Intelligence Association (AAIA) Fellow, an ACM Distinguished Member, and a Full Member of Sigma Xi. Dr. Song has been a Highly Cited Researcher identified by Web of Science since 2021. He received the Research.com Rising Star of Science Award in 2022, the 2021 Harry Rowe Mimno Award bestowed by IEEE Aerospace and Electronic Systems Society, and 10+ Best Paper Awards from major international conferences. Dr. Song has been an IEEE Impact Creator since 2023.

Biography: Prof. Dr. Nadeem Javaid received the Ph.D. degree from the University of Paris-Est, France, in 2010. He is currently a Tenured Professor and the Founding Director of the Communications Over Sensors (ComSens) Research Laboratory, Department of Computer Science, COMSATS University Islamabad, Islamabad Campus. He has served as Visiting Professor at University of Technology Sydney (UTS), Australia. Now, he also working as Visiting Professor in International Graduate School of Artificial Intelligence, National Yunlin University of Science and Technology, Taiwan. He has supervised 203 Master's and 34 Ph.D. theses. He has authored over 950 articles in technical journals and international conferences. His research interests include energy optimization in smart/microgrids, health care, wireless sensor networks using blockchain and data analytics/AI. He received the Best University Teacher Award (BUTA'16) from the Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan, in 2016, and the Research Productivity Award (RPA'17) from the Pakistan Council for Science and Technology (PCST), in 2017. He has delivered many Keynote and invited speeches in national and international conferences. Nadeem Javaid is Pakistan's Best Scientist in Engineering & Technology/Computer Science in the Stanford University's List of Top 2% Scientists in the World.
